About Me
My passion is in helping people feel more free, connected, and whole.
The world of somatics, the meeting point of mind and body, is where I’ve found my home as a psychotherapist. After completing a doctorate in cinical psychology at Rutgers University, I became a certified practitioner and teacher of the Hakomi Method of Mindfulness-Centered Somatic Psychotherapy, a gentle, body-based approach that brings awareness to the unconscious patterns that shape our lives. I am also a practitioner of Attachment-Focused EMDR, a heartful, user-friendly, evidence technique for working many different kinds of issues. My path has also led me deeply into the world of psychedelic medicine, and I’ve completed certification in psychedelic-assisted therapy through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in Boulder, Colorado.
Music has always been a guiding force in my life. I have been playing and writing since I was a child, and presently I enjoy leading devotional chanting circles and composing original mantra music. To deepen this path, I completed a 100-hour sound ceremony training at Forest Path on Lake Atitlán, where I learned to weave sound, silence, and ritual into ceremonial containers for transformation. In my facilitated journeys, I integrate live sound—crystal bowls, harmonium, gong, drums, rattles and more—as well as mantra and chanting, to support emotional flow and cultivation of mystical states of mind.
I have walked the spiritual path with energy and curiosity for as long as I’ve been alive. I am a restless seeker with an eclectic appetite for ideas, rituals and practices. Some of my most cherished moments in this life are when I have had the opportunity to hold sacred space and bring music to lifecycle events. I follow the sound of the Oneness wherever I can hear it, and I look for the unifying threads concealed within apparent differences between languages and traditions. I believe that a functional spiritual life is needed by all, to free us from our natural fears of dying and of being alone, both of which underlie so many of our modern psychiatric issues.
This work is a deep calling for me, and I would be honored to accompany you on your path ahead; to support you in finding greater freedom and belonging, accessing the infinite bounty of spirit, and reconnecting with your fearless heart.
Note: I also have a silly side.
